You get what you pay for
Ordered 5 items. 2 never arrived, 1 was completely different from the photo, 1 broke after a day, and 1 was okay. Saving money isnt worth this hassle.
Hit or miss but sometimes great
Phone cases, cables, and small accessories are actually decent deals. Just dont order clothing or electronics expecting quality. Manage your expectations and its fine.
Waited 2 months for nothing
My order took 8 weeks to arrive and when it did, the "leather wallet" was clearly cheap plastic. The stitching was already coming apart. Complete waste of money.
Sizes are completely wrong
Ordered an XL shirt that fits like a child small. The size charts are meaningless. This is the third time this has happened. Im done with this app.
Good for novelty items
If you want cheap fun gadgets and novelty items its pretty good. Got a cool desk toy and some funny socks. Just dont expect premium quality from $2 items.
Photos are misleading
The product photos look amazing but the actual items look nothing like them. Its basically catfishing but for shopping. Would be 1 star but customer service did issue refunds.
Dont waste your time
After 10+ orders with issues ranging from non-delivery to wrong items to broken products, Im deleting this app. The money saved isnt worth the stress and disappointment.
Actually found some gems
You have to dig through a lot of junk but theres genuinely good stuff if you read reviews carefully. Got some great craft supplies and phone accessories. Patience is key.
Hidden shipping costs
The item is $1 but shipping is $8. When you add it up its not really a deal anymore. The app makes things look cheaper than they actually are. Deceptive pricing.
Addictive to browse
Ill admit the browsing experience is fun and addictive. The infinite scroll of cheap products is entertaining. Just have to remind myself that most things wont be as pictured.
Charged me for undelivered items
Two items marked as delivered but I never received them. Wish refused to refund. Had to do a chargeback through my bank. Terrible company terrible app.
Temu killed this app
Wish used to be the go-to for cheap stuff but Temu does it better with faster shipping. Wish hasnt kept up. Quality issues are the same on both though.
Fun with low expectations
Its like a virtual dollar store. Some finds are surprisingly good, most are junk. If you go in expecting dollar store quality at dollar store prices its actually fine.
Refund process is painful
Getting a refund requires photo evidence, multiple messages, and weeks of waiting. For a $3 item its not even worth the effort. They count on people not bothering.
Safety concerns with products
Bought electronics that got dangerously hot. Bought kids items that had a strong chemical smell. This app sells potentially unsafe products. Not worth the risk.
Some categories are okay
Craft supplies, stickers, and small organizational items are actually decent. Clothing, electronics, and beauty products - stay far away. Know what to buy and what to skip.
Customer photos tell the real story
Always look at customer photos not the listing photos. The difference is shocking. The app should require customer photos more prominently.
Its gotten slightly better
The newer verified sellers seem more reliable. Shipping times have improved a bit too. Still not great but better than it was a year ago. Baby steps.
Spam notifications are insane
This app sends more push notifications than any app Ive ever used. Even after turning them off in settings they find ways to alert you. Very aggressive marketing.
Entertainment not shopping
I think of Wish more as entertainment than actual shopping. Fun to browse and see what crazy stuff exists but actually buying things is almost always disappointing.
