The app Target deserves
This is how a retail app should work. Clean design, fast loading, easy checkout. Target Circle deals actually save real money and the Drive Up feature is flawless.
Drive Up is amazing
Order on the app, drive to Target, press Im here, and someone brings it to your car. Its free and usually takes under 5 minutes. Revolutionary for parents with kids.
Love the exclusive brands
Targets in-house brands (Good & Gather, Threshold, All in Motion) are surprisingly great quality. The app makes browsing these collections easy and the reviews are helpful.
Says in stock but its not
The inventory system is inaccurate maybe 30% of the time. Ill drive to the store for something the app says is in stock only to find its not there. Very frustrating.
Target Circle changed my life
The Target Circle rewards and the birthday deal are amazing. I save at least $50 a month using the offers. The app makes it easy to add them before checkout.
Better than Walmart for sure
Yes its slightly more expensive but the quality is better, the stores are nicer, and the app is leagues ahead of Walmarts. Worth paying a bit more for the experience.
Shipt delivery is hit or miss
Some Shipt shoppers are amazing and communicate well. Others make weird substitutions and dont respond to messages. The quality of delivery depends entirely on your shopper.
Registry features are excellent
Used the Target registry for our wedding and the app made it incredibly easy. Guests loved it, the completion discount was generous, and managing everything was a breeze.
Great for home decor
Targets home section is amazing and the app showcases it well. Better prices than Pottery Barn for similar aesthetic. The visual search feature helps find matching items.
RedCard discount stacks nicely
The 5% RedCard discount stacks with Target Circle offers. On a big shopping trip Im saving 15-20%. The app calculates everything automatically. Smart loyalty program.
Too easy to overspend
Target syndrome is real - go in for one thing, leave with 20. The app is the same. The recommendations and deals section is dangerous for my wallet. Good app though lol.
Wallet feature replaces cards
Having my RedCard, Target Circle, and gift cards all in the app wallet is convenient. Scan once at checkout and everything applies automatically. No more physical cards.
Same day delivery works great
Needed party supplies urgently and had them delivered in 2 hours. The fee is reasonable and its incredibly convenient. The app tracking is accurate and updates in real-time.
Returns are easy at least
When things go wrong (wrong size, defective item), the return process is painless. The app generates a return barcode and you just show it at the desk. No receipt needed.
Kids clothing section is great
Cat & Jack brand through the Target app is our go-to for kids clothes. Good quality, great prices, and the guarantee means we can return worn out items. App makes browsing easy.
Store map feature is helpful
The in-app store map shows exactly which aisle products are in. No more wandering around looking for things. This feature alone makes the app essential for in-store shopping.
Consistent quality experience
Target delivers a consistently good experience through the app. Not the cheapest but the quality of products and service makes up for it. My most-used shopping app.
App eats battery
If you use the app while walking around the store with location services it absolutely destroys your battery. Drains like 15% in a 30 minute shopping trip. Needs optimization.

Target price matches Amazon and other retailers. The app makes it easy to show proof. Saved money on electronics and toys by price matching right at checkout.
