Underrated calorie tracker
MyNetDiary doesnt get the attention of MFP or Lose It but its actually very capable. Good database, clean interface, decent reporting. A solid mid-tier option that reliably does its job.
Good but not great
MyNetDiary is competent at calorie tracking. The database is good, the interface is clean, the features are adequate. But nothing stands out. In a crowded market being average means being forgettable.
Better than MFP in many ways
Switched from MFP to MyNetDiary and was pleasantly surprised. Fewer ads, more accurate database, better interface. Its not revolutionary but its a genuine improvement over MFP in most areas.
Solid middle ground
MyNetDiary sits between basic trackers and advanced ones. It has more features than Lose It but less than Cronometer. Good for people who want moderate detail without overwhelming complexity.
Clean and reliable
MyNetDiary is the reliable option. Consistent performance, clean interface, good database, regular updates. Not exciting but trustworthy. Been my daily tracker for 18 months without complaint.
Needs modern features
Good traditional calorie tracker but lacks modern features. No AI photo recognition, basic analytics, standard database. Functional but falling behind apps that are innovating faster.
Diabetes tracking is great
MyNetDiary has excellent diabetes management features. Glucose tracking integrated with food logging is really helpful. If youre managing diabetes this is one of the best options available.
Good all-rounder
Jack of all trades - calorie tracking, exercise logging, weight tracking, water intake. Does everything adequately. Nothing is best-in-class but having everything in one decent app is convenient.
Quiet workhorse
While everyone argues about MFP vs Lose It, MyNetDiary quietly does a better job than both. Better database accuracy, cleaner interface, fewer ads. The silent workhorse of calorie tracking.
Adequate for daily use
MyNetDiary handles daily food logging well. The barcode scanner works, the database is decent, and the interface is intuitive. Not the best at anything but good at everything. A safe choice.
Premium features are good
The premium version of MyNetDiary adds useful features - detailed nutrients, meal photos, and better reporting. Reasonably priced too. Worth the upgrade if you like the free version.
Fine but uninspiring
MyNetDiary is fine. It works. The food logging is adequate. The database is acceptable. The interface is clean. But theres no wow factor. Nothing that makes me tell friends about it.
Great for health conditions
MyNetDiary excels at tracking for specific health conditions - diabetes, heart disease, kidney issues. The medical nutrient tracking (sodium, potassium, phosphorus etc) is really detailed.
Decent competitor
MyNetDiary is a decent competitor in the calorie tracking space. Not the leader but solidly in the top tier. If your current app isnt working try MyNetDiary - it might click for you.
Good database
MyNetDiarys food database is well maintained and generally accurate. Not the biggest but quality over quantity. The tracking experience is pleasant if unremarkable. Reliable daily driver.
My diabetic husbands favorite
My husband uses MyNetDiary to manage his Type 2 diabetes and loves it. The glucose integration with food logging helps him see the direct impact of his food choices. Very practical for diabetics.
Solid choice
You wont regret choosing MyNetDiary but you might wonder if theres something better. Its solidly good at everything without excelling at anything specific (except maybe diabetes tracking).
Surprisingly good
Downloaded MyNetDiary on a whim after getting frustrated with MFP. Pleasantly surprised. Better database accuracy, cleaner UI, reasonable premium pricing. Should have switched sooner.
Does its job
MyNetDiary wont blow your mind but it will reliably track your food every day. The database is good, the interface works, and it rarely has issues. Sometimes boring and reliable is exactly what you need.
Middle of the road
Right in the middle of the calorie tracking pack. Not as feature-rich as some, not as limited as others. If you want a balanced nutrition tracker without extremes in any direction MyNetDiary delivers.
