Every gift I give comes from Etsy now. Custom jewelry, personalized items, handmade art - you cant find this stuff anywhere else. The app makes browsing really enjoyable.
Not all handmade anymore
Used to be all genuine handmade items but now theres a lot of mass-produced stuff from China mixed in. Etsy needs to crack down on this. Its losing what made it special.
Great for wedding planning
Found amazing custom invitations, decorations, and favors for my wedding. The sellers were communicative and the quality exceeded expectations. Just order well in advance.
Supporting small biz feels good
Love knowing my money goes to small creators rather than big corporations. The app shows seller stories and you can message them directly. Makes shopping feel personal.
Waited 6 weeks for my order
Ordered a "handmade" necklace that took 6 weeks to arrive and clearly wasnt handmade. No tracking updates for 3 weeks. Seller was unresponsive. Disappointing.
Custom items are the best
Ordered a custom portrait of my dog and it was absolutely perfect. The artist was so talented and communicative. This is what Etsy is all about. 10/10 would recommend.
Good for vintage clothing
The vintage clothing selection on Etsy is incredible. Found authentic 90s pieces that I cant find anywhere else. The search filters could be better for sizing though.
Expensive for what it is sometimes
Some sellers charge premium prices for things that dont justify the cost. A simple tote bag for $60? I get that handmade costs more but some pricing feels excessive.
Favorites feature is well done

Best sticker shop ever
Im addicted to buying stickers on Etsy lol. The variety is insane and the quality from small artists is amazing. The app makes impulse buying way too easy though!
International shipping is expensive
Love the products but shipping from international sellers is really pricey. Sometimes the shipping costs more than the item itself. Wish there were more local options.
As a seller the app is decent
I sell custom jewelry on Etsy and the seller app is functional but could be better. Order management works, messaging is okay, but the analytics are lacking.
Gift guides are helpful
The curated gift guides and collections make finding the perfect gift so much easier. Especially around holidays. The app presents these beautifully.
Returns are complicated
Each seller has their own return policy which makes things confusing. Had an item arrive damaged and the seller refused a return. Etsy support eventually helped but it was a hassle.

Discovered an amazing watercolor artist on Etsy and now I have 5 of their pieces hanging in my home. The app helps you find creators you never would have found otherwise.
