Spaced repetition changed my life
Since discovering Anki 3 years ago, I've memorized thousands of facts that I still recall today. The algorithm is science-backed and provably effective. Nothing else comes close for long-term retention.
The interface is from 2005
Anki looks like it was designed 20 years ago because it was. The interface is functional but ugly. Quizlet looks modern. Anki looks like a Windows XP application. Function over form, clearly.
